Short Biography
Kate is qualified teacher for Higher Education and an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK. She has been teaching for 3 years with a background in Advertising practice where she had her own business and went into law from the desire to wanting to learn to protect that business. Kate went on to teach Advertising at Coventry University (UK) and is now a Lecturer of Business Law at London South Bank University for the Business School where she runs the Law pathway degree.
Kate’s teaching expertise lie in Business Law, Marketing Law, Intellectual Property Law, Commercial Law, and Advertising & Media Communications. Kate’s areas of interest for lie in both teaching practice and legal research. Kate is currently researching around the area of teaching law to non-specialist students. Kate is highly interested in Human Rights where she is closely linked with the charity organisations, Amnesty International and Eaves (Poppy Project).
