Short Biography                  

Dr. Poomintr SOOKSRIPAISARNKIT obtained his LLB from Thammasat University in Thailand, LLM in International Commercial Law and PhD from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. He is an CEDR Accredited Mediator, a General Mediator Panel of the Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited (HKMAAL). His research and teaching interests lie in Insurance Law (Marine and Non-Marine), Maritime and Admiralty Law, Carriage of Goods by Sea, International Sale of Goods Carried by Sea, and Private International Law (Conflict of Laws). He is on the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Maritime Law Association (HKMLA) and the Hong Kong Insurance Law Association Limited (HILA).
